However, the Photon S differs from the Anycubic Photon in that it has a more stable rod and a touchscreen that makes it easier and more comfortable to use. Those without either of these would be best served by the Photon S. It does not make much sense to make the jump if you already own the Photon

Ergonomics have been given considerable attention.

Steel chassis with powder coating makes the Anycubic Photon feel sturdy. It is also slightly heavier because of this.
SLA Printing uses light-sensitive resin in the printer based on LCD technology. Using the touch screen interface was a breeze.
We weren’t particularly impressed with the touchscreen sensitivity.
High-quality prints will be produced by the Photon.
In addition to anti-aliasing it also supports firmware updates.
Your post-processing should also take some time.
As a final consideration, the Photon S is slightly more expensive.
Almost the same dimensions are found on the Photon S.
Plastic is used instead of metal and it’s top-quality.

On the Photon S, we have also seen an updated touchscreen. It now appears to be bigger and feels more responsive.Therefore, the slight z wobble of the original printer is removed here.
There is a slight texture on the print bed. As a result, the resin adheres better.
The air filtration system is another major change. Dual activated carbon filters are installed on the Photon S. Only one was included on the original Photon.
Although resin printers are not as toxic as other printers, fumes and smell still persist.For improved print quality, there is an updated UV module in the Photon S as well. A matrix of UV lights is included with this printer. In addition, it features a power output of 10W.
Software – how does it work?
User-friendly features and functionality remain the same in the Photon S.
It is still messy to print resin, however. So cleaning up with the Photon S still took some time.
Its enhanced print quality is a great addition to the Anycubic Photon, offering good value for money.
This printer is ready for use after being fully assembled. The slicer software is user-friendly and easy to use, making leveling a snap.
The software also provided impressive support generation capabilities.

There are two good budget resin printers for miniatures – the Anycubic Photon series and the Elegoo Mars series. The Photon S is the way to go if you want a few extra features, but you won’t go wrong with either.
